News of Interest to Members
Support the Employee Free Choice Act

Let your US Congress Representative & Senator know that you support the Employee Free Choice Act. Senate Bill - S.842 /House Resolution - H.R. 1696.  If this passes congress it will make it much easier for Unions to organize non-union employers.  Unions would only have to show the majority of employees have signed bargaining card and employers would have to negotiate, no election necessary!  Watch a video on the EFCA.

Changes to Prescription Drug Plan

Starting July 1, 2009 you should be receiving a new medical card.  You will now pay your pharmacy for any co-pay or additional costs, you WILL NOT mail in receipt to the Trust for reimbursement.  The plan remains the same, $10.00 co-pay and no cost for generic or 15% cost for namebrand drugs.  You must use either Ellingson's mail order or a pharmacy the subscribes to Express Scripts Network.   Failure to use the Express Scripts Network will lead to a large increase in cost to you and the Trust.  Click on this link to see if your pharmacy is in the network.  Information on this will be mailed out in June.
